It is used for "overlay" doors (no face frame) with a 3 4" door thickness. They are sold by the set. A set includes 2 hinges, 2 mounting plates, mounting plate spacers, all necessary screws and mounting plate covers. Use 3 hinges per door for door heights from 36" to 47". Use 4 hinges per door for door heights from 47" to 59". Use 5 hinges per door for door heights from 59" to 71". Use 6
